Casey Kaplan serves as Vice President of Construction for FECR, joining the team in 2017. He was
instrumental in the completion of Panorama Tower—Florida’s tallest building at a height of 868
feet—working with the City of Miami and its private provider to ensure a smooth process in receiving a Certificate of Occupancy.

Casey currently oversees all aspects of construction and assists with the entitlement and construction documents for the company’s upcoming developments, notably including the new One Bayfront Plaza, which will be even taller than Panorama Tower at a height of 1,049 feet.

Throughout his career, Casey has worked on and led multi-million-dollar construction projects for two of the largest developers in South Florida—currently at Florida East Coast Realty and previously at The Related Group—including low-income housing, high-rise condominiums, market-rate developments, and large-scale mixed-use projects. He has been a part of several iconic projects in the Miami skyline, such as SLS, SLS Lux, Brickell Heights, 500 Brickell, and the Paraiso project master plan. Additionally, Casey was the Senior Construction Manager on City Place Doral, a master planned mixed-use development with multiple types of construction.

Casey graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Organization (focus in entrepreneurship) and a minor in Real Estate Finance. Away from the office, he is an avid runner and University of Miami football fan.
