Jonah Hochman joined FECR in 2009, upon graduating from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University with a master’s degree in accounting. Initially brought aboard as a staff accountant, Jonah has ascended to the role of Vice President of Accounting & Finance and now oversees all aspects of the accounting department, including banking, general ledger and job cost accounting, financial statement preparation, auditing, and tax preparation and planning.

Jonah has spent the better part of the past decade modernizing the accounting department through the use of new software and technology, as well as streamlining various processes to allow the department, and the company as a whole, to operate more efficiently. In addition, Jonah oversees the accounting side of property management operations, serving as a liaison with upper management and dealing with the abstraction, review, and audit of lease documents.
